Stephan and I met at a bar in Kew Gardens, in Queens, New York.

It was a sunny and warm fall day, and I was having lunch outside with my friend, Jennifer. I went inside for some reason and while inside, I noticed a cute guy sitting all alone at the bar. The guy was wearing a STL Cardinals jersey, so I asked him if he was from St. Louis. His reply was, "Why?"

I told him that I was from the STL area, and it was rare to see a Cardinals jersey in NYC; especially during the playoffs.

I invited him to join Jennifer and I for lunch, he did, we exchanged numbers, and the rest is history.... 17 years later, here we are!
